TDX Group wins Nottingham Post Business Award for ‘Contribution to the Community’ for the third time.

The fantastic fundraising efforts of TDX Group staff are once again being recognised in the local community, by receiving the ‘Contribution to the Community Award’ at the 2018 Nottingham Post Business Awards last night for the third time in four years.

TDX Group, the UK’s leading provider of data and debt recovery solutions, launched a new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme ‘Make The Connection’ in 2012. Since then, we’ve raised over £300,000 for local charities which has made a real difference to the lives in people in Nottinghamshire.

This has only been possible thanks to the phenomenal efforts of the 300+ employees who ensured 2017 was another bumper year, fundraising for over 50 charities, by participating in a wide range of events including a 250km bike ride challenge and the ever popular Christmas Charity Ball to name but a few.

TDX Group employees haven’t just been raising money though. In 2017, our colleagues spent over 600 hours volunteering in our local community as well as numerous hours spent in and out of the office fundraising for local events.

Kirk Fletcher, UK Country Manager at TDX Group, said “Winning this Nottingham Post Award three times in four years is a fantastic honour and is reflective of the sheer amount of hard work our TDX Group colleagues put into fundraising for the local community. But the real inspiration comes from the incredible feedback we receive from the local charities we support. Where our contributions have helped make a substantial difference to lives of local people that the charities work tirelessly to help.”

In 2018, TDX Group will continue to partner with The Children’s Bereavement Centre and have established a new charity partnership with Notts County Football in the Community (NCFITC) as its charity of the year. NCFITC runs innovative programmes to inspire disadvantaged and marginalised people across Nottingham to take up sport, improving their health, confidence and skills.
