TDX Group, the UK’s leading provider of debt recovery solutions, is delighted to announce a record-breaking year of fundraising for charities in 2015. Its 380 employees have pulled together throughout the year to raise £96,661, more than doubling its total in 2014.
The company are delighted that £87,484 of the total amount raised will go to its charity of the year, The Children's Bereavement Centre, enabling it to expand its services by opening a second outreach centre in West Bridgford. The Children’s Bereavement Centre is an independent charity who help with the grieving process brought on by the death, terminal illness and divorce or separation of someone close, and currently operate from Newark.
Laurence Hamilton, SVP Decision Solutions at Equifax and TDX Group Managing Director, said: “I’m overwhelmed by the commitment of my colleagues to so many fantastic causes throughout 2015 and I’m delighted that we’ve managed to more than double last year’s fundraising efforts. I’d like to say thank you to everyone who has helped support these amazing charities and I’m personally very proud of the work TDX Group do for our local community; and the passion, commitment and achievements of the team.”
Kate Baxter, Director of Services at the Children’s Bereavement Centre, said: “Every year we need to raise many thousands of pounds just to keep our service running and with around only nine per cent of the funds needed to stay open each year coming from government funding, we really do rely on the support of the local community.
“So we’re delighted by this phenomenal donation from TDX Group which will help us to maintain our existing services and also extend our support by opening a second outreach centre in West Bridgford, allowing us to provide support for 200 more children, young people and their families as close to their home as possible at what is often the most traumatic time in their lives. A huge thank you to TDX Group colleagues for this vital support, it means so much to us and the families we support on a daily basis.”
Nottingham-based, TDX Group was founded in 2004 and is now part of Equifax. The company and its 380+ employees are committed to supporting the community and local charities. Every year TDX Group colleagues choose a charity to support as part of its ‘Make the Connection’ corporate and social responsibility programme – throughout 2015 it has been working with the Children’s Bereavement Centre and has committed to working together again in 2016.
