03 October 2014 — TDX Group, the UK’s leading provider of data and technology-driven debt solutions for businesses, is delighted to announce that its Charity Ball, held on 25 September to raise money for The Ear Foundation, raised £40,000.

The ball had almost 250 attendees made up of TDX Group clients, suppliers, local businesses and representatives from The Ear Foundation. Many more businesses and individuals also donated prizes and time to make the event a huge success.

Mark Sanders, CEO, commented: “We set out with a goal of raising £20,000 for The Ear Foundation, so I am absolutely overwhelmed at the generosity of everyone who attended. Bringing together our customers and suppliers across our industry and being able to raise £40,000 is an incredible achievement and I would like to thank everyone who made it possible.”

Sue Archbold, Chief Executive at The Ear Foundation said: “We are absolutely thrilled with the wonderful sum that TDX Group has raised for us. We are currently doubling the size of our premises in Lenton, Nottingham, to create purpose-built, family friendly accommodation. The money raised by TDX Group will help enormously with fitting out, helping us better support deaf children and adults and their families.

The impact of deafness is huge, but in today’s technological world, and with the generosity of our supporters, there are huge opportunities to change this.”

TDX Group colleagues chose to support The Ear Foundation at the start of the year and have since been holding fundraising activities. The Ear Foundation provides services which bridge the gap between the clinics where exciting technologies, such as cochlear implants, are fitted and the local community where they are used in everyday life.

Mark Sanders added, “TDX Group is a local Nottingham business and, as we’ve grown, it’s become increasingly important to us to give something back to the community in which we live and work. The Ear Foundation is an inspiring organisation and we’re delighted to be supporting them in 2014.”
